Description
This 1958 Rambler Six Custom Cross Country station wagon was acquired by the seller in 2026, and subsequent work involved mounting Coker Classic whitewall tires, installing a fuel cell in the rear cargo area, and replacing the carburetor, fuel pump, and various electrical components. Power is provided by a 196ci OHV inline-six paired with a column-shifted three-speed manual transmission, and the car rides on 15″ steel wheels with covers in addition to a coil-spring suspension. Refinished in gray in the 1970s, the body has a wraparound windshield, twin hood ornaments, fender-mounted mirrors, a roof rack, tail fins, and a retractable rear window. The cabin features a reclining front bench, red upholstery, an analog clock, and an AM radio. This Rambler Six is now offered at no reserve with spare wheel cylinders and a clean Colorado title in the seller’s name listing the car as an American Rambler.
