Description
This 1950 Buick Super is one of 2,480 Ionia-bodied Estate Wagons produced for the model year, and it is said to have spent time in the Estée Lauder collection in the Hamptons of New York. The car was refurbished under prior ownership before being purchased by the current owner in mid-2025. Finished in black with wood side-window framing and tailgate over red vinyl upholstery, the vehicle is powered by a 263ci inline-eight paired with a Dynaflow automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ steel wheels, bright hubcaps, whitewall tires, backup lights, an AM radio, a clock, and a traffic-light viewer. The transmission and the lever shocks were serviced in preparation for the sale, and the six-volt coil and battery were replaced. This Series 50 Super woodie wagon is now offered in Connecticut on dealer consignment at no reserve with recent service records and transferable New York registration.
