Description
This 1947 Buick Series 70 Roadmaster is one of a reported 300 Estate Wagon examples produced for the model year. It is said to have undergone a refurbishment in Florida in the mid-2000s, and it was later displayed at the 2008 Meadow Brook Concours d’Elegance and the 2009 Glenmoor Gathering Concours d’Elegance. Finished in Royal Maroon Metallic over red leather and tan Bedford cord upholstery, the car is powered by a 320ci Fireball straight-eight paired with a three-speed manual transmission. It is further equipped with a clamshell tailgate, flip-up taillights, fender skirts, and a Buick Sonomatic push-button AM radio. Following its purchase by the seller on BaT in February 2025 , the water pump and battery were replaced, and a replacement set of tires was acquired. This Series 70 Roadmaster is now offered with a California title in the seller’s name.
