Description

This 1935 Jensen-Ford is one of what is believed to be fewer than 30 custom-bodied cars built by Jensen Motors in England using modified Ford chassis, engines, and running gear, and it is one of an estimated two built with wood-framed estate coachwork over Ford of Canada underpinnings. The car is said to have been registered in the UK in the late 1950s before resurfacing in a state of disrepair in the 1980s. It was then sold to a Jensen Club member and piano restorer who performed a refurbishment that was completed in the 1990s, after which the car changed hands in 2001 and underwent further freshening. It was purchased by its current owner in 2010 and imported to the US. Finished in green with wood trim, the car is powered by a 221ci Ford flathead V8 that breathes through a single downdraft carburetor and is mated to a three-speed manual transmission. Additional features include mechanically actuated four-wheel drum brakes, Andre Hydro-Telecontrol shock absorbers, green-painted 16” wire wheels, a Notek central fog lamp, and red…

leather interior upholstery. This Jensen-Ford V8 is now offered on dealer consignment with a clean Missouri title.
